I used the same fabric for the "dark". Another from the stash.
I decided to use the flannel wall and build the quilt.
It looked like this and I left it alone.
Row one and row nine are the same. Row two and row eight are the same. There are two that aren't the same fabrics, but the same hue. How to keep it organized?
I took my flower head pins and marked row numbers on them. When I took it off the wall
it was easy to sew it together properly. These are rows 1 to four, still with the pins in even when I was finished.
These are rows 6 to 9. Yes the pins were out when I decided to take the picture.
I used this method years ago, but I haven't been doing row quilts like this for a while.
It makes my sewing easier. I like easy. I always have.
