I bought some fabric at The Hobby Horse the last time I was up. I cut everything out and there it sat. I got angry with myself and decided to get it done. A simple easy pattern that should not have had to be pulled out a few times. The only thing I think I did wrong was to stack the fabrics when I cut them out and some were "off". It's better now, but not perfect.
This quilt is going to Healthy Babies, Healthy Children here in Halton County. The blue fabric is called "Crackle" from Northcott and the white is called Confetti from Poppie Cotton.
I used a blue variegated OMNI V thread -- mainly because it's time for it to be used up. You don't need the thread to blend in, you can make it visible and give your quilts some pop. As this quilt is rather "sqiare" I opted for a pantograph with motion to it. Popcorn was my choice this time.
and my label is on the back. I don't give my name or location when donating. It's a privacy thing.
These quilts are going out before Christmas and hopefully before the snow flies. We've had a great autumn here in southern Ontario but soon it will come to an end. We can't be this lucky forever. Mother Nature would not be happy.
