there are so many things you can knit or crochet. I'm a knitter, never been one to crocher, I can't get the hang of it. I've tried, believe me I've tried.
I had just finished the quilt and this yarn seemed to match it well. I thought I could donate it with the quilt, but the place I was donating couldn't accept it. So onto another plan. Just knit when I felt like and then think about where it would go.
I knitted a little hat one night and the next night two wee mittens. The pattern for the mittens is in a very old knitting book I purchased when the grands were little. Sorry I couldn't find a link to see if the pattern is still available. I can't give you the pattern because I would be violating copyright. Danged if you do, danged if you don't.
It's a Mary Maxim yarn called Starlette and it's a worsted weight. It is really affordable at $5.99 a ball or if you buy more you get a deal. I get the deal!!
