Christmas!!

I think about it all year long.  What can we give that is different.

This year I had the rug pulled out from beneath my feet when three different people changed things and what I had they didn't need.  Two schools -- although one did get the gift for the family -- teachers moved on to either retirement or another position, and one church apparently decided at the last minute to not have a bazaar.

I decided to pull the pocket pillows and then I went shopping for books.  I found two treasures I want to share with you.  The first book I opened had this amazing back page.  I haven't read the book yet, but this really is fabulous.  The book was chosen because it goes with the fabric.  That's the only reason I needed to order it -- well other than it was on sale.  I'm going to get another for my children's book shelf.

This is Canadian!!  These are going to two little boys who are celebrating their first Christmas.  Well, technically Douglas is having his second because he turns one on December 22nd.

This book is also Canadian.  Written by Chris Hadfield and the book glows in the dark.  You just don't get any better than that for a child.
The four pocket pillows are being donated to our police force's toy drive.  I'll tag them for an age group so they can be distributed easier.  Yes, I checked with them and the lady thought it was a great idea.
