This quilt took a long time!

I had the kit ready but I was doing other things.  I finally went down over two afternoons and put the top together.  Smooth going and then.............stopped.  I had no idea how I was going to make the back because I didn't have as much fabric as I thought I did.  I wanted all the fabric gone so after a few days the light bulb came on.

Here we are:
the front which I designed using EQ.   I really like this pattern and may at some time do it again.

The back:  The agony of coming up with this.  Simple stripes of fabric -- so simple once you get an idea in your head.  First of all though, cut the binding so you aren't in a bit of muck.
The binding I wasn't sure I had enough, so I added just a little bit of the navy blue between each length to make sure I wouldn't run out.

The pantograph is one of my favourites -- Popcorn and the thread is a variegated OMNI-V 9004

I tried something new with my crests.  This one is handsewn on the back but next time I'm going to put it on the front and sew it with my machine with a small zig-zag
The last time I dropped off quilts I had to put my name on all of them.  I clued in and won't have to do that again.  Brilliant, I am just so ruddy brilliant.  LOL
