I found this pattern on Mary Maxim and it cost me a fortune!!!  $2.99!  Don't know how I afforded that.  One slipper worked up in one evening.  Not bad considering I had to pick up stitches around the edge.  Don't ask me how much I love doing that.

I had this yarn and it worked up beautifully so it will be ordered again. 

Then I found a pattern for chunky yarn slippers so I gave them a go.  Blew the first one, so I tried with another pattern.  The only thing I do differently is the stitching between the sides and the bottoms.  I like the "ribbing" better than straight knitting right across

I'm going to look for heart buttons to put on these instead of pompoms.  One ball of yarn makes two slippers so I'll pop into the fabric store and see what they have.  I may find something else.
