A beautiful fabric that caught my eye in the children's fabric section at The Hobby Horse. Freckle and Lollie have this cute line out and I picked out Ladybug Daisy -- a lovely shade of mauve. Me??? Mauve??? Yup, I did it. Then we coordinated a deep purple Northcott Toscana and after cutting one day I figured out a way to strip piece it together. It took me an hour to make the quilt top.
I didn't buy a backing when I was at the store because I can always order them, and once again a Freckle and Lollie -- Fun Dot. I only bought a meter because I had pieces left over to extend the backing so I had enough. I selected Ginger Flowers for the panto and an OMNI-V pink to quilt it out. I decided on the Toscana for the binding and with fabric left over I may just get one more quilt out of this fabric.
I have a design in mind. Maybe something like this. We'll see
