Parcels have to be mailed

so I decided to get the sewing and knitting done in the summer.  One toque and one cowl left to go as I write this, but they don't take long.  A few evenings in front of the television.  Our granddaughter-in-law will be getting warm socks and as I don't knit them, I'll be venturing out soon to find some.  She always has cold feet.

This is their quilted gift this year.  But first, a Charlie Brown Christmas Tree cross stitched for their Christmas card.  Yes, everything is handmade at our house.  Our grandson, Cody, is quite proud of his Charlie Brown tree.

The runner, bucket and placemats are all made from the same fabric.  The trees are to honour Robin as she is a certified arborist and landscape designer.
The bucket will be filled with their favourite candies.  Robin loves Haribo and Cody loves Junior Mints seeing as it's Christmas.

The napkin holders were something I came up with one evening.  Cut your fabric 2 x 6 1/2", fold in half right sides facing, fuse some pellon to one side, sew around 2 edges, turn right side out, close up the opening, add a button to hold it closed.  Pop in your napkins and you are done.  You could cut your fabric wider, add a larger decorative button if you wanted to.

Then why not???  I don't like a stash like some have.  I want to buy it, make it all up and buy more!!  It's just the way I am.  Someone has to keep the fabric shops open.  The almost very last of the fabric.  A tiny bit of green left but no idea what to do with it.  Four coasters with the set.

Just have to wait until the end of November and UPS will get the call.
