It was productive

and by the end of the summer, many quilts had been turned out, a lot of knitting done and a bit of cross stitch.

I quilt during the day, I bind in the evening and also knit while the television is on.  Cross stitch wasn't much but it kept my mind occupied and my hands busy.

Baby quilts are my thing!!  I love to design them, I love to sew them, I love to quilt them as they are small pieces and it takes less standing at the long arm.

Here we go.  A small taste of what was done.

A new line from Northcott called Woodland Adventures was just in the store at The Hobby Horse when I drove up to see Gail.  I bought two panels and 1/2 metre cuts of the 12 different co-ordinating fabrics.  Boy those cuts went a long way.

So much fabric, I bound this one with a scrappy binding.

I purchased the fabric the day it arrived at:

You can shop online with free shipping over $50 or drive up to the farm and spend a wad of cash!!  It's one of my favourite things to do.
