I bought this yarn. No idea why. I don't care for it. I have already knitted a baby blanket out of it but still I have balls of it left
I've opted to knit up a cowl and it will be one you can wrap around your neck twice. I prefer them long.
Cast on 26 stitches and I'm using a 8MM needle. I'm also using three strands of yarn because this yarn is fine.
Here's the pattern:
©Row 1: **K2 stitches, K2 twisted.** Repeat from ** to ** with K2 to finish the row. Check the photo below and twisted actually means to knit into the back of the knit stitch. It's very easy to do.
©Row 2: **K2 stitches, Purl 2 stitches.** Repeat from ** to ** with K2 to finish
These two rows are repeated for 42 inches. If you want to make it longer, you can but I wouldn't go beyond 48 inches
Confession Time
This started off as one pattern and after 20 inches of knitting, and the scarf "rolling" on the edges, I pulled it out and started over. You will see one scarf in the photo above and another from now on. This pattern is posted above
𝅘𝅥𝅱The yarn has got to go, The yarn has got to go𝅘𝅥𝅰................so knitting every evening I finally achieved my goal.
I cast on 23 stitches and did one pattern for the headband and another for the centre. What the heck. I just designed as I knitted along. It was done by the time I went to bed but I wanted to get this up and posted. The yarn is gone.
