for some fabric for a few projects.
I decided to go back to my old, old store I've dealt with for over 30 years. I'm not as local to it as I used to be but they do online shopping now. The Hobby Horse Quilt Shoppe up in Glen Williams, now known as Georgetown. OLD people still call it "The Glen", the place my aunt and uncle used to live, where some cousins live. It's a quaint place.
I wanted large prints for a quilt that is in my mind. A simple quilt that I hope will look fabulous when it's done. These are two of the prints I chose. Of course, once I got into the site, I found another children's fabric, so somehow that popped into my cart. Don't have any idea how that happened.
I decided to pop into Lindley General Store and see what was new. I've dealt with this online shop up in Meaford for quite awhile. If I can't find it anywhere, I find it here. I'm going to make a two colour quilt with the blocks cut 8 x 10 so it ends up 40 x 50. Yes, of course, more fabric ended up in the cart. It's what I do!! LOL
While I was on my adventurous travels on the web, I found a new online shop for me. I desperately need this bunny fabric for a pillow because I already have the story run off from the internet! That's my story -- I'm sticking to it!! I am seriously hoping these two work together.
I like online shopping. I can sit at the computer for hours and find new shops and new fabrics and just have fun. If I find something, that's fine, if I don't that's fine too.
As I travel around, I'll add to this column. Just put in the search engine........quilt shops. They will pop up.
