Gifting

In late fall I went searching for some "winter" fabric.  I found it at my favourite fabric store on Prince Edward Island, Quilting B and More  I had every intention to give these away to two children that are less fortunate and then another idea formed and these were sitting here.

After a lot of thought, I came up with another plan. These two pillows

are going to sisters here in our neighbourhood.  Their Daddy is a police officer and has been on training for a bit now, so this is their reward for being good girls for Mom

Their Mom's cousin lives next door to me, so I put the idea to her and she loved it.  Then I needed books.  Emme is now 8 going on 10 so I needed advice.  Tate is 2 so she is pretty easy.

I ordered this book and it arrived promptly.   These are the books that Emme loves so adding another seemed perfect to me!!

I did check it out.  I loved it!  She will love it.

All packaged up and ready for delivery

                              sometime this week.

I wandered Indigo and finally found a Robert Munsch book for
Tate.  It seemed appropriate for the fabric!!  It is a cute book with a bit of poetry thrown in for good measure.
Kids love poetry

Personally, I haven't seen a snowfall like this one in many years but that's because of where we live.  This one is ready to go too.
A special thanks to two girls who are being so good for their Mom,
