And quickly there were three

A long arm allows you to quilt one, two or three small quilts one after the other.  I used my new needle nanny from https://fourboysandanlgirl.com/  I'm keeping this one at the long arm so I can find my snips a bit easier.  I tend to put them down anywhere and then when I need them they aren't to be found.

I used the same pantograph.  Cakewalk from Urban Elementz

and an OMNI-V thread 9138, Silver Mist for two of them.  I'm not worrying about which thread as these are for dogs to sleep on.  They just want to be comfy.

This top was pieced with leftover fabrics I had in stock and a fabric I just don't like on the back.  I could not come up with anything to use it for, so backing it is.  This is 36 x 36" square so it didn't matter how I loaded it.  I opted for a scrappy binding as two of these fabrics were just fat eighths so you can't really do too much with them.  They work with the quilt fabrics.  A little "off" for the backing but that happens when things aren't too co-ordinated.  Please note the backing is not being shown.  Trust me, it's bright turquoise with orange flowers.  What possessed me to buy it, I do not know.

This one is from the same blocks but I used a blue thread on this one.  If you are doing something "non-important" try things out.  I like it.  I liked it so much I did it for the cat quilts I made up.
They are Mandy and Sara approved.
Just wait -- the cat quilts are coming!!
