our resident boys
truly are the best cats we have ever owned. Maybe because this time we got two. Or maybe it's because our daughter isn't here for them to love. The last three cats came home for us, but they adopted her.If you quilt for dogs, you quilt for the cats. I made four up from some fabric I just didn't like -- after I ordered it. It's almost feels like a poly-cotton with the finish on it. It isn't comfy like cotton. It had to go. I'm hoping it softens up with washing.
The pantograph is called Catrina. It's my favourite cat pantograph. (I do own another but they cats are creepy.) This one was designed by Apricot Moon and is available from Urban Elementz. I used two different variegated threads. One black and white for obvious reasons and one was shades of oranges, yellows. One was OMNI-V and one was King Tut. I'm trying to use up thread because I have far too much of it.
These measure about 17" square and will fit nicely in the cages at the vet's office. I actually made 4 for the cats. The other two match these ones, so no need for photos.
