Time Away

 The month of August is knocking on the door.  That's the time of year I take some time away for me.  To sit back, relax, read, do a bit of travel.  This year won't be any different other than the travel.  It will be close to home, a nursery centre, a local park, whatever turns our fancy.

Yes, it rained off and on again yesterday.  I wish we could share this with those that desperately need it.  I'm afraid I don't have a fan large enough to stir those clouds north and west.

I have books to read compliments of my family's birthday gifts.

I re-purchased a book I had taken back.  I made a mistake judging it by the first few chapters.

I will be giving you reviews down the road.

I did finish up this book.  All was well until the last chapter.  It could have moved along a bit faster, or maybe things could have just been left out.  Other than that it was a pretty good read for the summer.  A father who can't stop living the high life of a major recording artist, kids that are left with their mom who struggles to keep things together.  The oldest who is left to raise her siblings when the mom passes away.  They do alright for themselves.  That's it, that's all I'm telling you.  Meany, aren't I?

Do I recommend it?  Yes!
