For another front line worker.....April 7th

 We are choosing who we think deserves these quilts.  This one is for our Mayor.  A token of thanks in appreciation for doing so much for the City during the past 12 months.  So many people were newly elected and then got hit with a pandemic and things changed.  Decisions had to be made for the residents that some wouldn't mind and others probably would.  

This is the end of a line of fabric I bought for us.  I don't need another quilt, but people need to know they are appreciated.

This was an easy pattern to put together.  I planned it out on EQ and then changed a few things as I went along.   From this................

I used up the rest of the fabric on the back along with one row I opted not to use

The pantograph is called Passion with a Twist and the thread is OMNI 3009 from Superior

Then of course, a matching bag.  An insert in the lining so I had the width

If you want to make the bags, you can buy the cotton webbing for the handles from Mad About Patchwork that is located in Stittsville, On., close to Ottawa.  It was prompt delivery.

Who is next?  Ah-ha.  I'll let you know.
