I thought, I could make something nice from those cut squares. I've always loved this fabric and I had enough to do something. So much for donating it to another charity group.
I went into EQ and after many designs, I had this. I would have to buy the border fabric, but what the heck, it's only money, right???
As everything was already cut, all I had to do was lay it out and then stitch it. I used the dining-room table for the 9 patches and after a bit of strip piecing I had it done. The border fabric is called Willowberry and it was a Northcott Line. Not much left now at Lindley.
I ordered it and it was on our front porch when we got home from doing some curbside pick ups around town.
All Quilted!!
I use yellow/gold thread and used a pantograph that isn't available anywhere. I took Ginger Hearts and Bird Bath, and made a new one.
In place of one heart I put a bird in honour of all the Timothy's that lived with Granny.

This little quilt is to honour my Granny Mason who always had a canary in her sunroom. She just loved her little birds and they were all called Timothy.
