I bought a panel and then Anne dropped over long before the lockdown, with a piece of fabric. It was perfect for the backing.
I added borders to the top and bottom to make it a bit wider. Green grass and yellow that goes with the school bus and a couple of other spots.
I decided to do Airplanes by Dave Hudson and Dill King Tut thread for the stitching.
Small quilts take about an hour to do on the long arm so it was a quick, easy project.
I have been doing a lot of knitting during the evenings, (dishcloths and a lot of hats and scarves for charity)
but with two quilts to bind, I opted to do these in the evening and leave the knitting for a couple of nights.
This is going on the pile and I can think of what to do for March.....which I don't think will take a lot of time on my part.
