All cut up but not ready to go. The squares were originally cut 4 1/2" square, but I am going to do something different than my original thought. I'm calling this one "Diamonds in the Wild"....for now
The fabric line is called Enchanted Garden for two of them and then the red and blue were in my stash and they worked so I pulled them.
If you want to do this from scratch these are the fabric requirements:
background......1.1M
dark grey/light grey.....1/2M
blue and red.......fat quarters......according to EQ.
When you do it from your stash you just count the squares and go for it.
I couldn't decide on a pantograph so I played on Urban Elementz and tried two different ones.
I chose the thread while I worked on this quilt. I figured out the pantograph. Here you go.
The pantograph is Bird Bath
The thread is no longer available. It was called Dill and it was a King Tut from Superior Threads/Cottonmill Threadworks
The wording is perfect for a child. It is what every child should be told as they grow up.
An evening of television and the binding was done.
The last label. I just keep changing the way I do them. I do like them on an angle so for now that's the way they will be done.
