Not going anywhere

There are too many memories wrapped up in this panel, so it's staying here.
For many, many years our family trekked up the highway to beautiful Algonquin Park.  We had birthday parties, we celebrated Thanksgivings, we camped, we had campfires and best of all we saw animals in their natural habitat.
Pog Lake was our favourite.  We could bike, hike, sit and watch the activities of the lake life, swim and canoe.  We did it all.
We saw a lot too.  All this and more.
I saw this panel and thought it would be cute for a baby.
Then.......
I put it on the flannel wall.
Decision made
It is ours.
We have seen bears in Algonquin -- twice.  Once at the end of a trail and once along side the Highway 60 corridor.
I bought a backing from the line and used Pine Cones for the pantograph
OMNI-V thread #9065
the perfect pantograph
The selvedge of this quilt was kept.  Something I rarely do.  I wanted to be able to find the artist and give him credit for his work.
The panel is available from Northcott Fabrics.
