I chose this for my pantograph because it would just work with this fabric. The thread isn't white, it's silver.
The pantograph started in the orange and finished in the black fabric and then cruised across the top of the quilt. The thread faded into the fabric and let it show.
You could see the design but it wasn't "in your face".
This is the backing and it's a co-ordinate for the pumpkin fabric
I love the number of colours in this backing.
All finished and ready for the big night. This is our first Hallowe-en quilt. It will be the last one.
Two nights of binding and it was done.
Buddy had to do his inspection
the bottom border
and the backing
Now to decide where to hang it.
I saved the selvedge from this quilt. I like the name of this line of fabric.
When I store my quilts, I roll them so they don't form a crease. The selvedge is perfect for tying it.
Wishing you all a wonderful Thanksgiving.
The tradition in our family is for everyone to
come to Mom and Dad's and this year won't
be any different.
Turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes, squash, carrots and peas.
Apple pie and pumpkin pie for dessert
and let's not forget the cranberries!
