I started this off the top and it should have been 1 1/4" but I think I misread the ruler. That's my story and I'm sticking to it.
I was really happy with how the pantograph actually formed a diamond in the diamonds on each side. Doesn't happen often but when it does it gives you bragging (fibbing) rights. You can say you planned it that way, but actually most times its just sheer Irish luck! Each row took me........
I had the thread picked as soon as I had the backing chosen and the front finished. I did try others and then told myself to stick with my original thought.
There is a pin in this photo. It's where I ran out of thread from bobbin number one. I mark it so I can find it again.
