It just wasn't working

Take three:

 Nothing would go together properly.    This quilt was cut wrong, sewn wrong and one badly sewn row tossed in the garbage.  I was giving up.  Frustration can cause a lot of angst.
I took a break, sat down at the computer and redesigned.
Take four:

 For some reason the colour is off in this photo.   No idea why, but the top was done and I was finally happy.  The backing was made from four fat quarters that came with the set.  I have many more to use up!!

 and look, it is big enough for the top which is a small 32 x 32

 I wanted to save this much of the selvage and I'll sew it into the sleeve.
