What a relief!
I chose a new pantograph. I wanted movement for this quilt. I went online to my favourite pantograph website and purchased Sound Wave by Jessica Schick. This is a fabulous pantograph. You have so many options when you work with it. You can adjust the widths of the sound waves, make them 1" apart or 2" apart or do a combination of both. You can s-t-r-e-t-c-h them out, or make them closer together. All up to you.
It stitches out quickly but it looks fabulous when it is done.

I had this fancy thought in my head to do three different colours of thread. That went by the board when I found out I don't have a dark brown or the right shade of red. I chose a neutral thread
The front.....
the backing.....
pre-binding......
I placed it on the table by my chair and someone discovered it.....It must have been comfy......
It's up! It was a struggle to get it there so it won't be coming down anytime soon
I even saved the wee bit of selvage. I sewed it into the sleeve and then pretended my stitching was hand quilting. I couldn't hand quilt to save my soul.
