I re-designed this one in my EQ programme because the hospital gave me the sizes of the quilts that were required. Although the pile looked big it wasn't quite big enough. Soooooo.......
back to the drawing board.
I made all the four patches and then trimmed them back to nine inches.
I taped my rule when I was squaring up because I was watching a show on television at the same time. Not always a good idea.
I marked my ruler in both directions for the cutting so this time I wouldn't make a mistake. It took me a couple of days to get it together, because it looked bare in the cream coloured squares. I added to it and then it was.......

Two evenings of hand work and the binding was on.
I was going out to the famous snowbank but the wind was a bit fierce and I wasn't going to chase this devil down the road!
Go back and take a look at the binding..........carefully look. I'm going to do this again. It wasn't because I ran out of the cream. I just wanted to try something different. I'm really glad I did.
