That's it!

One month under our belts and what a month it turned into.

For those that don't live here we had a whale of a snowstorm on the 19th of the month and I was in Heaven!!  I love a good snowstorm.....I didn't like the bitter cold.
When all was said and done
A snowstorm like we haven't had since......well......last year.
I dug out my laptop and sat in my favourite chair and designed quilts with fabric I have in the house.  Basically they will all be about the same size.  36" x 36"
I am designing them for the isolettes at our local hospital.  This was the first one.  It was going to be a crossword puzzle but then I changed my mind.  There just were not enough squares to do what I wanted to do.  I have the fonts all picked out and stay with me, I'll be posting this one and the rest of them too.
This is from a fabric line called Enchanted Garden.  Those blue cornerstones may go and be another colour.  You will have to come back and see what I did

These fabrics are from Nutex and called Wildwoood Forest.  Two fabric quilts can be pretty darn nice from a line of fabric.

I was tidying up the sewing room and found this wonderful stack of 5" squares from a project that never got off the ground.  Just in time for the right month of the year.  Hmmmm,  see I missed colouring in two squares at the bottom.  Great workmanship!
I have had a box of 2 1/2" children's fabric squares in a box at the work station for quite awhile.  It's time I started to do something with them.  I fiddled on EQ and came up with this.  I'll be giving instructions as I go along with these.  Please honour all copyright laws.  These designs do belong to me.
For at least two of the quilts I have the pantographs picked out and quite possibly the thread.  Now to get down to work and get them done!!
