Finally

before the end of the year, I had the Buttermilk Basin quilt on the frame and stitched out.

It took me a while to come up with a pantograph for it and then one day, out of the blue, I got this idea.  So I went searching on Urban Elementz.  I like their pantographs and I love the fact I can try them on my quilt before I buy.

This pantograph is called "Flyway" and to me it resembles flying geese which are the bane of my existence!  If I don't do them paper piecing the points never hit where I want them too.  I cheated on these and I'm not telling you how.  I just did!!
Here you go.  A photo montage of
Buttermilk Basin's mystery quilt
Loaded up!
"Flyway" ready to go
Thread chosen.....OMNI-V 9138
The front
The back which is actually burgundy and green!!
and it's done.
The binding is the same as the print fabric.  I want to save the grey
as a just in case I need it some day

You will notice a new photo at the top of the page.
