I have a binder and in this binder

are writings about quilts I've made.  It is called "Every quilt tells a story".  Not all the quilts I've made are in this book because I just started it this year, but I did go back with quilts that are hanging here and there and told their story.

This quilt is the latest to be included.  Two fabrics from the line "Woodland Adventures" by Northcott.  I absolutely love this line and it works well for a boy or a girl.

Simple squares of fabric sewn together that believe it or not was not an easy task.  A day where the sewing machine was in gear, but the brain had derailed.

The backing was chosen as this is actually the same print as the background in the lighter blocks.  It is called Crackle and I love it!!

Once again I chose Popcorn for the pantograph and this time I used another coloured thread that worked so well with the coral fabric.  It is OMNI-V 9036, Palomino.  You can buy OMNI-V threads here in Canada from Kawartha Quilting and Sewing.
I found a way to use my crests.  I'll sew them to a fabric from the quilt and then place them in a corner of the back.
This fabric inspired a short story.  I had an idea, so I lifted my bottom off the sofa and sat down at the computer.  I finished it up and handed it to Karl to read.  The next day I searched the internet for little pictures to put in the two pages.  I've only done this once before for a quilt but it could happen again.
The fabric sometimes inspires me.
