The fall is glorious and it starts to get cool

II

I searched for a new chicken recipe.  We have been watching Jamie Oliver in Italy and this recipe really spoke to me.  I did make some minor changes because Karl and I do not eat 4 chicken breasts with the size we buy them.   I ran it under cold water, patted it dry and then coated it with the mixture.  Popped it into my toaster oven and oh boy............it was fabulous.

I have retyped up the recipe--it has to match the rest in my recipe book -- but it is the same as the one in the link here:  https://cafedelites.com/oven-baked-chicken-breast/
Here is mine:
We were watching Wheel one night and the clue was Apple Pie which they said had something to do with Ireland.  Irish don't make apple pie, but they excel at Apple Cake.
Before baking

Fresh out of the oven.

This cake is so easy.  The only thing I recommend when you press it down into the cast iron pan (I cannot live without this pan) is to flour up your hands and the dough won't stick to you.)

My link is here:  https://docs.google.com/document/d/1HbjpgBmSe5UQebmunksKBk_A-SQK26Ql/edit?usp=sharing&ouid=100615431287139506008&rtpof=true&sd=true

I found the recipe here:  https://www.31daily.com/cast-iron-irish-apple-cake/

A good scoop of ice cream adds to it or of course, they is also whipped cream.  Warm it up a bit the next day and enjoy!
