I goofed!

I bought the wrong weight yarn to co-ordinate with a variegated yarn.  I should have checked but I didn't.  Nothing goes to waste in this house, so I designed a scarf which ended up as a cowl.

The pattern was this:
Cast on 24 stitches on an 8mm needle.
K3, P3 every row.
Randomly switch out the colours.  (I was rather pickie at the beginning and then just went for it.)
Knit until you run out of yarn.
Easy-peasy
TIP:  I cut the yarn as I switched it out and at the end give it a knot which is well hidden and threaded in the ends on the inside.  No one will see them.

Fold the length in half and sew it together.  This part I'm not very good at but I give it my best.  Wrap it up and it will keep you snuggly warm on those cold winter days

The donation knitting is now done and I'll pop it over to Community Living very soon.

Now it's time for family
One daughter (I only have one), one grandson and one for me.

One day I was on Instagram and the young man I follow was talking about a principal that was making a difference in a young person's life.
Some one said I wouldn't know what to give.
If you can't knit, you can't sew, you aren't crafty in one way or another
give your time
There is always someone who would love to have someone to talk to
There are young people living on the street for so many reasons.

Time
If you give someone your time, then you are giving them a gift
that will last forever and ever.
