May I introduce

Teddy.  Teddy has lived in our home for 55 years.  Bedstefar sent him over to his first grandson the year after he was born.  This young feller has travelled thousands of miles, he has been to the hospital three times and has been very well loved.  He lives with us now in a place of honour in my "afternoon" chair.

He has lost his sense of smell and his name tag is partially off but when you get older things happen.  To fix them now he just wouldn't be the same old bear.

Now this is Ted!  Simple little name for a quaint little bear that came to our house one day just because....  I allow you to fill in the reason.  I love him.  He has often been my model in the past and today is no exception.  You have to admit he does the job extremely well.

I had fabric left over and what to do???  Then I thought they sort of co-ordinate so why not pocket bibs.  I did the Google thing and found a freebie. Here you go.
I never have snaps in the house, but I always have narrow Velcro.  I sewed that in place and for me it works better.  Snaps you have to find the right place to make it work, Velcro not so much.
It took me a couple of days because I had to think!!  I didn't have terry cloth , I didn't have flannelette but I did have muslin, I did have fusible fleece.  1 hour at the machine and these were ready for delivery to the Dads who are my butchers.  One baby is here born on December 22nd so he will soon be 6 months old.............where did that time go??  We are waiting for numero deux.  (Sorry no accent over the e -- I don't have a french keyboard.)
