May two-four weekend

 The unofficial start to the Canadian summer

People have gone camping

Folks are opening up their cottages

and 

others are out gardening.

Celebrate but do it wisely

As we sat and listened to the fireworks going off in our neighbourhood I thought back to our Sara and Misty who couldn’t understand what was happening and the fear they felt.  Then I said to Karl, “I wonder how this affects the coyotes, the raccoons, the deer, the ‘possums that live nearby.  How selfish mankind is for 10 minutes of self indulgence and they terrify animals!
