panels!!
They are the easiest way to make a baby quilt and are doable in a day. Yup, the whole thing. Sandwich it, quilt it, trim it, bind it. Binding is evening work in my house and I do it by hand.
These are two I finally found after a day of searching. For some reason panels are hard to find unless you shop on Ottawa Street in Hamilton which thankfully Melissa found. I had given up.
The first one I found at Lindley General Store. I know I bought the last of the backing, not sure about the panel and I'm doing a solid binding.......maybe.
This was shipped to me from European Textiles in Hamilton. Yes I know I live next door but it's so much easier to have things sent over and I don't have to wrestle the traffic. I need a backing for this one, so it will sit here for a bit.I'm opting for the same pantograph for both of them as they are both 36 x 44 or so they told me.
And one is done...............
'This quilt is being donated.
I'm looking for a special home for this one
I would love it to go to a special child
one with Down's Syndrome
or a disability.
My search is on.
