Last Christmas

as I was scrolling through Instagram (I'm no longer on that social media platform, not on Twitter, not on Facebook) I found something cute and quick to knit up for a grandson who bought three bottles of liquor when he was in Europe as souvenirs.  They are on display so I thought maybe he could decorate them for the holidays.

I showed them to my neighbour thinking they would sell at her church bazaar, and she agreed.  I can do two sets per night and in a couple of nights (or by the the time you read this) I will have 12 sets for them packaged up, ready to sell.
This is from a company in Norway called Garn Studio but you can find them under Drops Design if you are on social media.  They don't have a fancy title for this pattern.  Just hats and scarves for bottles.  I think it's cuter than a bag which is so obvious and you can use them over which is nice.  You make them, you pass it on, the recipient can keep them or pass them on.  OR you may get a full time job knitting them for people.
The pattern is here and it's FREE!!
I will warn you, once you get into this site you will be there for a bit, but it's a nice place to visit on a rainy day.
For the pom poms I used my dessert fork, but you can just use your fingers.  I found this while I was searching on how to make tiny pom poms.  I can make the big ones but little bitty ones was a new thing for me.  Yes it's on YouTube!!  Not much isn't these days.
Enjoy!!....they are fun to do, either for yourself, your church bazaar or to give as a gift -- which I won't be doing.  I don't drink -- I don't like the taste -- so I don't go into liquor stores.  We do buy 12 cans of beer in a year and mine is "watered" down with ginger ale!  Yes, I'm a very cheap date.
And I'm all done.  The red yarn is finished.  I have 12 sets for the church.
