The day I went out to take the photos the wind was wiping through the city. I thought the quilt would blow too much if I hung it up, so I laid it on the deck and it behaved itself.
The front
all of the fabric for this quilt were in the house from previous projects.......some of which have long been forgotten aboutThe back.....it doesn't match perfectly because I didn't do it properly. Can't blame the long arm machine for this.and words to live by
This quilt is being given to a City of Burlington employee who has put up with a lot of bunk throughout this pandemic. No one should have to go to work and wonder what wrath they are going to have to put up with. NO ONE!!
The pantograph is one I haven't used in quite a while. It is called "Duet" and I purchased it from Urban Elementz. The thread is the same one I've been using a lot of lately. OMNI 3009. It pretty much goes with every fabric I have.
That's it for May. No idea where the time went now that I look back.
I'm nearly done with quilting for this part of the year. Just a couple of small projects that I want to get done and then my DSLR and I are going to get familiar with each other again. I'm also reading new books by new authors. So far my choices have been great.
