Some days I just love to sit with EQ and come up with designs for the fabric I have in the house.
I don't like "stash". I want to use up what I have and then move on. Some of this design was from a backing, I bought two more of the same line for another project and then a fabric I purchased because I knew it would work somewhere
Two designs but with different fabrics. I had some of the backing left from a quilt so instead of wasting it, I added it to the second one.
Of course, there is always fabric I can put to good use. But this was specifically purchased because I liked it. Do you need another reason?
The fabric line is called Perfect Union and Edyta Sitar designed this for Andover Fabrics. I bought it from Cherished Pieces.
I was very kindly given some Toscana Microchips. These are 2 1/2" squares. I looked on Northcott to see what a designer had done but that was way too much work. I came up with this.........just randomly placed squares. The colours are the same, but it gives me a place to start.
It is simply called "Microchipped", mainly because nothing else came to mind. All the quilts will be made. I'll stack them in a box and the one on top will start the quilting.
I won't be doing one per week, but when I feel like it.
I have a couple of panels from last year to quilt out, but only one per month.
