happened on January 14th because apparently there are a lot of selfish people in this province who just think they are above all the rules. The rules are plain and simple..........stay home. You may go out for groceries, for your medications and for your doctor's appointments. You may go out and pick up at curbside.
I decided that day I had to get motivated, so I went downstairs, took the quilt off the wall, pinned the rows together and came back upstairs to our den. I took out my little machine, set it up and started to sew.
This seam allowance is just one little bit over the 1/4" seam allowance, which means I will have to sew the entire top on this machine.
It didn't take long to get to this point
and then I took it down and measured for the top and bottom bordersI left it there, because I decided to change the outer border, I wanted to check it out on EQ and it was coffee time.
Next morning after vacuuming, I got back to it. I hate leaving things in progress, I like to get them done.
Maybe an hour's work? It wasn't long.
Each corner block is facing the same way as the block in the quilt. All the borders are facing outwards because I needed the rest of that fabric for the backing. That's a whole other story. Stay tuned.
