Traditions

We won't be celebrating quite the same this year.  Our gang are coming for lunch today and we will open our gifts and then we won't see them for a while.  It is, what it is.

Wishing you all, the best of the best.  I hope to have something done in January.  Fabric has been shipped, yarn has been shipped, so I can keep busy.

I have my Christmas list done for next year so I can focus on what needs to be done and pack it up as the year goes along.  If I learned anything this year it's to be prepared for whatever comes along.  Who knew last Christmas that this year -- for the first time -- I would do my shopping online.  I wouldn't walk into a mall.  I shopped local in my village and to all those merchants who kept their doors open for us, you have no idea how much we appreciated it.

Fortino's grocery store -- independently owned

Silk Salon -- the greatest little salon around

Aldershot Guardian Pharmacy -- everyone is so kind

J n G Meats -- what can we say.  It's a place where everybody knows your name

Aldershot Home Hardware.  Another wonderful business where the folks greet you by name as you walk in the door.

Tim Horton's -- back to drive thru for us, but that's okay.  The timbits will still be just as good.

However you are celebrating, do it safely.  I am positive 2021 will be better.
