A series of baby quilts

I tried out a pattern because I had some fabric I just wanted to use up.  It's been around for awhile and one was donated for charity quilts.  I didn't want to disappoint the donor by not using it.
It is easy, it is quick and uses about 2 yards/2 metres of fabric, IF you are using the same on the back.
These are the cutting instructions and it makes a quilt about 39 x 39"
It took a short period of time to do the cutting and about an afternoon to do the sewing.  I had fabric left over from the Northcott quilt so I put that into the backing of this quilt.  Every little bit is leaving my house.
On a beautiful Sunday morning I took the quilt out to the deck because I noticed there weren't many little dabbles of sunshine coming through our tree

This is the backing with the fabric left over from the Northcott quilt.
I used Dill #1006 King Tut thread again because it worked so well on the Northcott Time To Quilt lap quilt.  I opted to do the label just a little bit differently.
The pantograph is Jester which I have never done on a baby quilt but it works.  I'm not one to do bunny rabbits and animals.  I like to stretch it outside the box.  The pantograph is available from Urban Elementz
Thursday will be another quilt in this series..............but slightly different, because some people can't read the lines on her cutting board!!
