Time to Quilt

Starting April 28th, Northcott offered a block a day until May 1st.  As you can see from photo one, you did one and then reversed the colourways.  I did it for the first block and then decided to just do one and make it into a lap quilt for donation.

I decided on grey for the sashing and chose Canvas from Northcott.   I had some pre-cut so it was simply a matter of stitching it together.  It was roast beef day at our house, so I only got this far.  I did the layout in EQ and didn't change anything.  I could have spent days doing it, but that would mean a lot of frustration

I got pretty annoyed with a local company on their treatment of seniors so I took my frustration out on the quilt. 

I had the thread chosen as soon as I looked at one fabric.  The pantograph......drop back in tomorrow, yes a Friday.
