When I sew my labels onto the piece of fabric, I really like that fabric to co-ordinate with the front of the quilt. I scored this time. Well, I think I did anyway.
If you use your imagination, the light blue could be stars or it could be discombobulated airplanes. Well, I said you had to imagine.
This is the last of the World of Susy Bee quilts for a while. By the time I get over to Ronald McDonald House with quilts I will have made 12 and as I don't quilt in the summer I won't be starting up sewing for them until August. I have no idea when their doors will open again so I just keep hanging them up.
This is Zig, the Flying Ace. You won't be seeing him again. It's not really one of my favourites. It's one of those that I say "it's okay" and I really hope someone likes it.
Believe it or not that is grass in the background.
Once again a Dave Hudson pantograph
and I used OMNI-V 9138 thread from Superior. I buy it locally at Cottonmill Threadworks but you could order it online from her and have it shipped.
I really like this backing fabric. It works really well with the front and my quilts do have to co-ordinate.
I am not happy with Blogger right now. They have changed the way they do things in the background and I'm having huge problems with it. I will keep posting for a while. No idea if they will go back to the old way or this is the new normal. If it is I will either have to get very used to wander around looking for things, or just quit all together. Not many options there.
