I received an email

asking if I knew anyone that could make masks.  I knew I could do it, so I offered.  They are for our crew that cuts our lawn.  We love the people that own the company and the crews are the best! I thought the best tutorial was on Missouri Star Quilt Company.  It didn't use elastic because people are complaining about it.  People are using the wrong kind.
I spent an afternoon cutting enough to make 20 masks............two each for the crew.  And for each mask they need two strips of 2 1/2" x W.O.F for the ties.
This was the first one.  I wanted to try one to see how it went.  As I went along I got faster and faster because I discovered my short cuts and some good old strip piecing.
There are two of these and they are for Laura, the only gal on the crew.
I found the perfect fabric in my stash for gardeners.  The ties on some are "grass".
Karl took over the kitchen duties so I could sew.  I had 10 done by the end of one day with 8 more to go.
Delivered on day three.  Ready for the crews on Monday morning.  It's spring time, it's clean up time and pretty soon the lawns will need cut.
Jenny suggests flannel on the back and cotton on the front.  They are going to give me feedback because I just have to know.
I hope by the time you read this that we have "flattened the curve".
I hope all your family remained healthy through this.

At suppertime last night, there was a knock on the door.  I didn't recognize the back of the person
but I should have
By the time I got to the door I knew who it was.
Our amazing crew chief from our lawn cutting crew
The guy that has plowed our driveway for 2 winters
Marshall!
He had his mask on and when he took it off he was grinning from ear to ear.
He came to say thank-you.
You have no idea how good that made us feel.
They are all doing well for which we are mighty thankful.
