Finally!!

A few years ago I saw a wallhanging on the Beaver Creek Mercantile website.  I thought it was fabulous so I ordered two of them in different colour ways.  This is one of the two colour ways.

I opened them up when they came and thought to myself, this pattern is not going to happen.  You cut it up, mounted it on black fabric and made it look stained glass.  I put everything back in its original shipping packaging and left there -- for a long time.  I bought a second pattern and last week decide something was going to be done.  Not that pattern either though.
If you go onto the Northcott site you can see the whole line but if you are interested I can't send you to any stores.  I have no idea who carries it.

I decided to design my own pattern and tried twice.  My main goal was to finish this piece and give it as an anniversary gift to Peter and Heather on June 23.

I had the pantograph and I had the perfect thread.

Done and handed over.  I did buy binding fabric because what was left wasn't enough.  

I have to say once I got into this kit I wasn't very happy.  Not all the fabrics were from the line.  There were substitutes and they just didn't work in my opinion. 

Right now I'm happy this is done and it is out of  my house.
