I'm not happy

with how this one turned out.  I guess it's a case of some you win, some you loose.  I lost this!
I had this on the wall for a few days and decided one afternoon that it was just time to stitch it up.  The Scotties were on and I wanted hand work while I watched my teams curl.
I chose a pantograph that is not available anywhere because my friend Anne designed it for me.  I did choose an orange thread for this...just because.
The centre fabric in each block is from a line called Construction Dogs and as I could find any dogs I liked I opted for trucks!!  There are always trucks at construction sites.

When you get so far in a quilt it finally lifts off the floor.  When you are doing a large quilt you have no idea how good you feel when you have "lift-off"!
I took many photos of this quilt and none of the them made the quilt look like anything.  I grabbed it one shady day and went outside

and now it just doesn't look so bad after all.
I finally figured out how to get those labels on.
I sew them done just inside the stitching for the binding with a tiny zig-zag back and forth, leaving just enough for all the wording to show.

This is another isolette cover.  To be delivered one day when I have enough to run down to Joe Brant
