That ugly crease down the middle of the fabric, that never seems to want to be pressed away. You know.......this one.
I decided the other day that I wasn't trying to quilt it out and I wasn't about to start washing my fabric. I donate my quilts and that just adds another expense to the making of them. So here is my tip of the day.
Buy yourself a spritzer. I got mine at the dollar store. Fill it with water. Spritz the water all over the fabric. Then I used my Mary Ellen's Best Press, unscented. If you don't mind the smell of scents you can use whatever spray starch you have on hand. I can't unfortunately use them in my house due to asthma.
After I had the fabric well spritzed, water first, then spray starch, I folded it back up.
I put it in a plastic bag
I brought it upstairs to the fridge and left it overnight.
Next morning I went downstairs and ironed it.
Voila!!
It is ready for the long arm.
Stay tuned for how this turns out.
