The east coast

of Canada is stunningly beautiful!  We are fortunate to live in a country with such diverse landscapes.

Prince Edward Island is more accessible today than it was 40 years ago.....30 years ago.  They built the most magnificent bridge and if you are fortunate to drive over it in a truck you can see for miles and miles.

A new attraction on the Island are "barn quilts".  There is a wonderful reason behind the start of this project.  They want everyone to learn more about the Island and one of it's major industries.  Farming!  Every type of farming you can imagine.
There are nineteen barn quilts already on the sides of barns out in the countryside.  Many more will be coming.

Take your time and read about it here.  You can take a couple of days.  Let it soak in.   If you ever drive to the Island, take a couple of days and do the trail.  You won't be disappointed.  It will just make you fall in love even more with the tiny Island on our East Coast.

My year in review will be up sometime just before New Year's.

Until tomorrow.....
