Ahhhhhhhhhh, Saturday

I'm just going to continue with yesterday's post and bring you right up to date and then start fresh on Monday with quilting again.
We left for Niagara Falls at 9:30 am. yesterday under a bright beautiful sunny sky.  You couldn't have asked for more perfect weather.  We were headed for Ripley's Believe it or Not on Clifton Hill in Niagara.  That's what the girl wanted to do, so that's what we did!

We got there early with not too many people around.  This is really the touristy trap part of Niagara.  Lots of places to spend your money, which we did.  We have to keep the economy moving.

We saw a ton of stuff inside the Museum.  Some I could share and some I won't.  This is a quilt.....made from winning ribbons......formed into the American flag.

This is the story behind it.

Crazy
tombstones...............................

and then we did this mathematical quiz and it was right!

Taylor had her hand dipped into wax and let it get formed.  This is her gift to her Dad for his upcoming birthday.

This is a definite must for the next time.
We drove down to the Falls and took a few pictures.  We decided to take a walk to see if we could get wet from the spray.  We did!  The weather wasn't too bad, but it will be better in August when we thought we may go back.
So this is where he goes in the off season.  Now we know!
Oh and yes we did eat at Tim Horton's for lunch and then the Swiss Chalet for supper.  We had to get the photos into the computer so Taylor could decide which I was to send to her house.

By the way.......................today is National Quilting Day!
After I do some decorative stuff to my granddaughter's jacket, I thought I'd put some pillowcases together.
Have a really good day.
