I don't very often do a blog to congratulate an arm of the government but this time I think it's worth it.

to Canada Post!! You have found the answer to porch pirates! No more theft from porches with your new method of delivery. I'm impressed.
Indigo had a great deal on books, so I jumped on it. I ordered four -- one is to come -- and I knew it would take a bit of time to get here.
I have an app on my phone called "Shop" that notifies me when my parcels are here. The last shipment the "ping" went off to say my books were here. I checked the porch and found not a thing. So I opened up the app and it said my books were in my community mailbox.
Up the road I hobbled and there they were. Tucked into the parcel box. Not the first time as these three books came separately. One and then the other two arrived. This is new! Just started and I love it. We can now go out and know that any parcels will be secure. Unlike Amazon who leave the parcel, snap a photo and then someone takes it. Yes, it happened right here in my neighbourhood and the thief was an elementary school child.
Thank you Canada Post for figuring out how to make sure we get what we order. The ball is in your court Amazon. Figure that one out.
Book reviews are coming but I have some other things to do too, so it could be awhile.
