that if you live in a community you give back to the community. Karl has been a soccer coach, I've been a Girl Guide leader, we have donated to toy drives, food drives, and countless quilt drives both here in Canada and abroad.
This is one of the quilts that I brought home. I did Happy Times pantograph on it and used OMNI Colonial Grey thread.
One of the guild members is desperately trying to use up her stash. Rosemary is like a lot of us this year and just getting things done, that maybe could have been done before. We are stuck at home so why not get to it.
Of course, Buddy had to walk past just as I snapped the photo. He is not going to be left out No idea the pattern name, but I do like it.
Crumbs, he did it again. A pieced backing is always great on a quilt.
This is the second quilt. I used the same thread because I have 2 cones of it and they hold 6,000 yards of thread. That goes a long way.
This quilt has Trailing Leaves stitched on it because some of the blocks have leaves.
The front.....The back......No Buddy this time!! He was snoozing with his brother on the bed. Posts are going to be a bit sporadic over the next little while. I am making quilts -- are you ready? -- for the family!! Yes, us!! I'll tell you the stories about them when they are ready for posting.
Stay safe, stay healthy. Hugs to everyone
