Digging through a bin

I found a part of a panel that I kept looking at and putting back.  I had an idea that I was going to fuse this to the front of a sweatshirt, but it never happened.
Then the light bulb came on and a decision was made.  Make it into a wallhanging that can be up for the whole month of October.  I put some Steam-A-Seam on the back of the scarecrow and cut it out.  I dug out some black fabric and cut it 15" x 18" and fused the scarecrow to it.
I used a stippling pantograph and OMNI-V, Pine Mountain 9065 thread, that I can't find on Superior's website anymore.
The green thread melted into the front and wasn't even noticeable on the face of the scarecrow.
I had a fabric all chosen for the binding, then changed my mind.  Here it is.
All ready for Thanksgiving decorating which has started!!
OMG, I googled Scarecrow fabric panels and guess what came up.  The original was actually a scarecrow you could make up and stuff with batting and use for decorating.  No idea where it went.  It was from VIP Dreamspinners.
